Hey guys, I'm not going to actually "blog" this video because it is almost 9 minutes long. Besides, it's easier to watch the video than to read this.
This video is on which next generation console you should buy or what game you should buy for the console you already have.

Suggested computer parts. You're going to have to decide what kind and to what extent you need. Dual core or quad core? 160 or 320gb hdd? This is going to cover what you need and why.
Karl has a 512 vid card, because the more megabytes you have, the better it will run. If you're a gamer this is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT. If you want to run a simple game, you'll be fine with almost any card.
If you are just a simple computer, you don't need anything special.
But, take bolivian for example, you'll only need like a 256mb card. If heavier games, you'll want a 512 or higher video card. There is actually a small thing you can do called crossfire, you can dual your video cards.
On RAM, try and use every slot you have so you can run smoother and it communicates faster. It will also cool your computer. The more RAM you have, the faster you are going to run. Tip for XP-1gb for RAM for Vista-2gb. That is just simple computing.
You'll have to watch the video for yourself to hear the rest...
1. Buy a physical laptop lock. Most computers now a days have a lock device where you can phsycially lock the computer to something (eg. a chair) so the computer cannot be removed.
2. Get locking/tracking software. This way, if something were to happen to it, you would know where it is the next time the person logged into the internet and the computer would lock if you alerted the software. This is helpful if you do not have a physical locking mechanism on the computer.
3. Buy a case that does not look like a laptop case. I for example, use a laptop backpack that I bought at Wal-Mart. This way, not only can I carry my homework and books, but my laptop too without anyone knowing.
4. Don't leave your laptop alone if at all possible. This should prevent anyone from stealing it.
5. Last but not least, have all of your files backed up onto DVDs or and external hard drive so that if something were to happen to it, you would not lose all of your media/ applications that you paid for.

I just thought I'd do a short video on Ventrilo. This program is a voIP program, which means you can connect with anyone that has the program, all for free (unless you rent a server which you don't really need to do). All you need is a server, which you can set up yourself, from www.ventrilo.com. It is quite simple to use, all you need is a computer and a microphone.
